I love my Daily Pages. I may take a break from them from time to time but I know it’s a little crafty goodness I can dive into at any time and not feel behind.
For example, I haven’t created a little book in months but for September I’m back doing my pages, Monday to Friday and enjoying it.
It’s somewhere I can create, practice techniques, just have some craft fun and not stress about it being ‘perfect’. Some of my favourites are nothing more than some washi & a quote card, a quote card and some word stickers. stamping, you get the idea. It’s the home of my Currently cards and my Thursday 3 lists. It’s the place I chuck my favourite quotes or things I see on Instagram.
You can check out my Daily Pages tag.
Kristin at the Awesome Ladies is holding a 5 day email challenge for beginners and seasoned Daily Pagers alike. You can read more about it (& sign up to join us) by heading over to Daily Pages Challenge sign up.
You’ll also be some of the first to hear about the amazing things Kristin has been working on

The winter book for the Crafty Ass Female Patreon Book Club (omg that’s a mouthful) is A Book That Takes Its Time. A Unhurried Adventure in Creative Mindfulness. It’s brought out by the same people who do Flow Magazine and I’d say it’s a bit of a must have for paper lovers. 218 pages of gorgeous quotes, illustrations, articles and a tonne of cute paper goodies.
I’m super excited about this book, as I’ve been lusting over Flow magazine for quite some time but never bought one. A quick flip through and I was like, I need to buy a second copy as I don’t want to rip any of it out BUT I have and I’m really looking forward to getting creative with it.
So over the next month or so I’ll be back with my thoughts or just to share a quote or a project I’ve created using something from the book.
Want to get your own copy? You can buy it here on Amazon (it’s the cheapest I could find it in Australia)
The theme for the Awesome Ladies Project for 2018 is Book of Me. I’m loving this so far. I’ve gone with a 6×8 album this year to give me a bit more room that last years 4×4.
So far this year I’ve been using Kristin’s Currently cards a lot. I love these and it makes it super easy to document what’s going on in my life.
My cover and January pages
February was all about Currently. My 4 weeks of Currently Friday. I’ve done a bit of journaling on the back of each cards to note important events that took place each week.
I turned 40 at the end of January so documented that
Gardening has been a big part of my life lately so it got documented too.
I’ve got a couple of more Currently stories to document so I’ll share them next time.
It’s been a little while since I’ve shared here. Life has been busy which sadly means not much time for creative pursuits.
Anywho, Kristin of rukristin and Megan of The Nerd Nest have created the next instalment of their awesome workshop My Details.
This round is all about Citizenship.
MyDetails: Citizenship Edition encourages you to tell the story of who you are.
The story of you is also a story of where you are from, where you live, your culture, and who you are as a citizen. With this workshop, you’ll document the details of yourself as a community member (whether it be national, regional, or local) as well as how the details of your culture/society impact your life. No matter what your citizen-story looks like, this workshop will help you document the details that are most meaningful to you.
Whether you’re a blogger, a mini book maker, an art-journaler, a scrapbooker, or any other creative or wannabe-creative person, we’ve got the best ideas to make sure you are telling YOUR story and documenting YOUR details in your memory keeping!
When you register you’ll get access to twice weekly prompts in your inbox, and you might see a familiar face If you’re interested, check out this page.
I’m looking forward to creating some pages and adding them to an album about me.
This week’s prompt – What is your ideal day?
The back side of my custom pocket. My ideal day – sleeping in, scrapbooking and reading. Without hubby or kids would be a bonus. As much as I love them, a day by myself would be bliss!
This week the theme was What’s Your Favourite Restaurant?
My first go creating a custom page with my Fuse. I’ve decided it’s not really an idea to do this on small pages like the 4×4 pockets. Not like this any way. It looked good in my mind, but not really so much in reality LOL
Skipping forward a few weeks and sharing the first of my creative team time pages. I’ll be sharing the other pages prior to this (weeks 6 to 11) in coming weeks – as I get the finished and photographed.
The prompt for this week was What makes you laugh?
My little guilty pleasure when I want a giggle – cat memes and videos.
Mostly a digital page with some stickers and a word tile.
