Week in the Life 2020

Week in the Life is a week-long documentation project from the amazing scrapbooker/memory keeper Ali Edwards. You can see previous years by clicking the WitL tag.

After not sharing my WitL for the last few years here, this year I really want to document our life right now during the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.

My Reason why for 2020:
This year the world is such a different place. We’re in the middle of a global Covid-19 pandemic and the majority of us are staying home.
I want to document what our life looks like during this time – what is different and what is the same. Our daily routines while at home and if we go out for essentials
Restrictions are slowly being lifter starting this week and I want to record life going forward.

On to the final stretch – days 21 to 31…

Day 21 and I had a bit of  Project Life catch up. I am so behind at printing these out and getting them in their respective albums.
Day 22 was reading and looking for little ideas to make for Christmas gifts.
Day 23. A little blogging
Spent Day 24 researching December Daily ideas.
Day 25 and I planned how I was going to catch up and finish 3 years of Journal Your Christmas.

I finish off 3 years of Journal Your Christmas is one sitting on Day 26. Why hadn’t I thought of this before?
Day 27 and I did a heap of baking for afternoon tea when we got to meet my nephew.
Day 28 was working on November bullet journal pages.
Day 29 – more notes for Crafty Ass Female podcast book club
Day 30 – it’s Bob Ross birthday marathon time on Twitch
Finally I spent Day 31 working on my Book of Me pages.

Braehead Crafts May Craft Day

Braehead Crafts is my little side venture. Mum & I run monthly craft events for local creative types and use a percentage of the event fees as our yearly donation to Ovarian Cancer Australia.

May was magnets.
A couple of years back I did an online class with Heidi Swapp & Jessica Sprague called Mouse Paper Scissors: Give. We made some awesome gifts and one of those was a cute little set of magnets in a tin. I modified the class a little as a) we didn’t have computer access for everyone and b) I wanted something everyone could do at home.

This time round we had a small group so I managed to make a few for myself.

and some of the other creations…
