Yesterday

Got home last night and just crashed. I was sooo tired.

The appointment I had at 1 was cancelled because the guy was sick but they forgot to ring me & let me know so we ended up spending a couple of hours just wandering around town, ended up meeting up with my MIL (we had FIL with us) for tea before hubby & I went to the Ante-natal class (more bout that on bub’s blog). and then when we got home hubby wasn’t feeling well. so it was an interesting wedding anniversary LOL Gonna do something special for him 2morrow night if he feels a bit better – like cook a candle lit tea.

So in Shimelle’s class yesterday we discussed what we put on our blogs & scrap pages, and what we choose to share & what we choose to keep private.

There is lots I don’t blog about especially when it comes to family. I guess the same is true for my scrap pages. I’m not very good when it comes to journaling. I’m trying to add more hidden journaling to pages now so I can tell more of the story.

The prompt for yesterday was to choose a story I’d like to scrap about (not today but in the future) and share a little bit about it here with you all. The rest will be hidden journaling that I won’t be sharing. Things that are more personal and stuff I guess the world doesn’t need to know Tongue

So what picture do I want to scrap about????

I’m slowly working on bub’s album (the little wolflet) so I might share the story of the day this scan was taken. (All the journaling in bub’s album will be written to bub.)

“This is you on October 22nd and you behaved beautifully for the ultrasound technician.

The funniest thing happened during the scan. We were chatting away to the tech while she did the scan and she turned and said to me “did you feel that too?”. Yup, you kicked the bit she was scanning and we could see it.

Both your grandmothers were there for the scan too which was nice.”

I plan on adding some hidden journaling to the page sharing our hopes and dreams for our little one. Something they can read when they are older.

Just a quick post

Just a quick post this morning to wish my hubby a Happy Anniversary.

3 years of putting up with me LOL. Love you heaps hun *hugs*

Will be back later with all the interesting info from our first ante natal class 2nite. still thinking bout my response to today’s prompt from Shimelle.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Yup I’m gonna give it a go this year. I’ve said I will for the last few years and never have. This year I’m determined to get it done 🙂 Hopefully November is an interesting month lol and not lots of “I’ve updated one of my other blogs” LOL

Still haven’t managed ay scrapping *sigh* been too busy with bub stuff & playing around with blog templates. speaking of blog templates – this one is in for a change soon…… bored with this theme lol

hope everyone has a great day!

Lookie what I got….

I did a survey for Colorbok and got sent this amazing pack of goodies in the mail yesterday.

I’m looking forward to scrapping with this lot – not sure what I’ll put in the album yet.

in other news, we bought a second hand car – it’s a 2001 Commodore. Hubby has a head cold. I’ve got a nasty case of hay fever (can’t take anything for it either) that seems to have developed into a head cold today ( i hate having a cough – it hurts my throat, my chest & the bump is sore – bub seems oblivious to it all thou & is moving around quite happily). that’s bout it really. off for another scan on Thursday.

Before I go thought I’d share this cute pic hubby took yesterday – it’s Cola lying with her head on my bump. she loves padding on it and starts to purr when bub kicks or moves – I can see those two will be friends when bubby is born.

Okies heading to bed to see if I can sleep off this head cold.

Congratulations

Just a quick shout out to a few scrap girlies I know who have made the Scrapbooking Memories 2009 Maters short list.

Wendy Smith, Kellie Lusted, Emma Allen and Susan Longman. CONGRATS girls (& to everyone else who made the short list)

not much going on here atm. just getting ready for bub & working on my TAFE course. haven’t done much scrapping lately – just can’t seem to get in the mood.  go to start something but just can’t seem to get started *sigh*

Some sad news

We lost a family member last night……. our bunny of just under 12 months Mr Bunny (aka fuzzbutt) was killed last night by a dog 🙁 The dog tore the handle off the cage and pulled Mr Bunny out 🙁

Lucky for the dog I didn’t catch it otherwise there would b one less dog in the world. Went & complained to the council today & from the description we gave they think they know who’s dog it is. I worry now cause the dog could take to the other animals in the area (next door’s kittens, down the road’s chooks, the sheep up the road) or even a child *sigh* why don’t people control their dogs & keep them in their yards 🙁

anyways enough sadness. Here’s a digi LO I did 2nite in memory of the not so little fuzzbutt.

Mr-Bunnyhopefully next post will be more cheerful 🙂
