This year I thought I might create a Christmas Bucket List to do through the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I searched for Christmas bucket list templates in Canva (check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/search?q=Christmas%20Bucket%20List\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the whole list<\/a> if you want to make your own),picked one I liked, created my list and I&#8217;ll print it out then add in to the planner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what is on my bucket list for Christmas 2024?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nightwolfsden.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Blue-Gold-Simple-Cute-Winter-Illustration-Christmas-Bucket-List-Planner--724x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11419\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I got some of my ideas from <a href=\"http:\/\/bucketlistlists.com\/christmas-bucket-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">this list<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/bucketlistlists.com\/christmas-bucket-list\/\">,<\/a> but it is very winter focused (not great for ideas when it&#8217;s Summer here in Australia LOL). Anyway onto my list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Decorate a Christmas Tree.<\/strong>\u00a0 Bit self-explanatory. Our tree goes up on Dec 1. This year we&#8217;ll have a 11 month old kitty (whose birthday is Christmas Day) and we&#8217;re trying to work out a) where we&#8217;ll put the tree and b) how to stop her climbing\/attacking it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bake Gingerbread biscuits. <\/strong>I love baking at Christmas time. I&#8217;ll do gingerbread, shortbread, Scottish tablet, mini meringues and a few more things.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Host a Festive Movie Night. <\/strong>Need to introduce the kids to some good Christmas movies. What would you recommend?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Send Handmade Christmas Cards.<\/strong> I need to get these made, especially the ones to send overseas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Visit a Christmas Market<\/strong>. I&#8217;ve got a few listed in our calendar already<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make Homemade Hot Chocolate<\/strong>. Kids are looking forward to this one. Trying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermomixdivarecipes.com\/thermomix-hot-chocolate\/#mv-creation-5-jtr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">this recipe<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Learn a new Christmas tradition<\/strong>. Going to get the eldest to research Christmas traditions from around the world in her last weeks of homeschooling and see if she finds something she wants us to try.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start a new tradition<\/strong>. See above. I&#8217;d really like to start a new yearly tradition that we do as a family.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Read Christmas Stories<\/strong>. We have a box full of Christmas books. Lots of stories for little kids that I think we need to have one more read of then decide if they are generational books (like the ones I have from my childhood) or ones we would be happy to donate to our local Little Library<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create DIY Ornaments<\/strong>. Another one for the kiddos to pick something to make.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Have a Pyjama Day<\/strong>. Might mix this with our movie day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reindeer Food<\/strong>. Even though the kids are 14 &amp; 10, they still love the Christmas Eve reindeer food tradition. <a href=\"https:\/\/theorganisedhousewife.com.au\/holiday-seasons\/christmas\/magic-reindeer-food\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">How to make magic Reindeer Food<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Santa plate on Christmas Eve<\/strong>. I&#8217;m going to make <a href=\"https:\/\/northpolechristmas.com\/santa-cookie-tray.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">something like this<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make Christmas houses<\/strong>. These from <a href=\"https:\/\/sweetredpoppy.com\/paper-christmas-village-free-template\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Sweet Red Poppy<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Beach-side picnic<\/strong>. We live near a beach and do this lots over summer. Nothing beats a chippie picnic at the beach &#8211; hot chips from the local take away, then drive to the beach for a picnic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go to the Christmas parade<\/strong>. Doing that next week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Camp out<\/strong>. The tent will most likely get set up in the backyard either the day after school finishes for the year or on Boxing Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Get a festive door wreath<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bujo Bootcamp<\/strong> over at the JashiiCorrin discord<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Finish Christmas shopping<\/strong>. Nearly done. Only my father-in-law,a nd my youngest niece and nephew to go. Everything else is bought or ordered and on it&#8217;s way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End of School year events<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Make Christmas Crafts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go on a Christmas Light Tour<\/strong>. These are getting less and less each year sadly. People are getting sick of their lights being stolen or damaged. It&#8217;s also getting more expensive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/journalyourchristmas.my.canva.site\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Journal Your Christmas<\/a><\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Try a new holiday recipe<\/strong>. Going to give a family friend&#8217;s Raspberry cheesecake a go.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Plan a Family Game Night<\/strong>. Not sure yet, most likely Game of Life. The kids are loving that one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Write a Letter to Santa<\/strong>. Not sure if the eldest will do this anymore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reflect and Set Goals<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you have a Christmas bucket list?
