I didn&#8217;t join in but when she announced round 2 I thought it would be a good way to end out the year. You can watch Jess&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zfDyrFEjubY?si=ZeL-tBZK93P1adhw\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/zfDyrFEjubY?si=ZeL-tBZK93P1adhw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> explanation video<\/a> on her channel. She has a playlist for<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLFmDbK4-NLnmOnjHB8jDLEwRa64lB7_IB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> round one<\/a> and one for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLFmDbK4-NLnnUSa6HTFxHBuyx8kUYfXeu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CYL 2.0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what am I planning to try to get done in my 3 months? I&#8217;ve broken my goals down into life areas &#8211; Physical health, Mental Health, Study, Social Connection and Decluttering, then picked 2-3 goals per area. They are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Physical health<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improve fitness &#8211; Aim for 150km over the 3 months &#8211; walk or bike ride<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drink more water &#8211; pair with tasks. Have a glass as soon as I get up. Have a glass while cooking meals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make more meals from scratch &#8211; less package stuff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mental Health<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improve sleep<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read 1 self-growth or mindfulness-related book<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keep up with weekly discussion posts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dedicate 5 hours per week to focused study time with clear topic goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summarize your learnings in a digital notebook at least once a week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Social connection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Weekly date with J<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan one social outing or activity per month (coffee, hike, dinner).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Decluttering<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our bedroom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital declutter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish a 15-minute weekly \u201creset ritual\u201d to keep spaces tidy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check in for the end of Month 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Physical goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Walking &#8211; 73.7km done. I&#8217;m doing the Ovarian Cancer Australia Workout 4 Women this month so that will up my totals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water &#8211; I&#8217;ve started tracking my hydration again so I know how much water I&#8217;m actually drinking, still more Coke that I want but water intake is slowly improving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More meals from scratch &#8211; lots of new recipes have been tried and I&#8217;m not using as much bottled\/packet stuff. Making the choice to make less that uses recipe bases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mental Health<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sleep &#8211; has been pretty rubbish. Daylight saving week 1 always stuffs up my sleep and I haven&#8217;t been well. Next month is sleep focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Book picked &#8211; I&#8217;m going to read Lessons from the Empress: A Tarot Workbook for Self-Care and Creative Growth (which is funny cause my tarot pick for 2026 is The Empress card)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have kept up with weekly discussion. Semester 2 lectures are done but I&#8217;m midway through an 11 week spring semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I&#8217;ve been blocking out 5 hours per week per unit each week and it has worked well. Think this will be something I take into 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summarising each weeks learning. Much easier now I&#8217;m back to one unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven&#8217;t really started on Social or Declutter yet.
