Oh yeah that\u2019s right \u2013 working on stuff for my blog and trying to plan a fairy party for a soon-to-be-4yo (OMG where did that time go?) and all that while having a small case of morning sickness (sooooo ready for that to be gone)<\/p>\n<p>Anywho, I got a heap of bloggy stuff done during the blogathon\u2026.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do some of the Blogathon mini challenges (see below)<\/li>\n<li>Tidy up my Pinterest boards (not really a bloggy thing but well it\u2019s a social media thing attached to my blog) \u2013 started but got overwhelmed. I need to sit down and work out a plan for this.<\/li>\n<li>Clean up and sort emails \u2013 Inbox is empty and emails I need to keep are sorted into their respective folders<\/li>\n<li>Do some planning in my blog planner \u2013 worked out a social media plan<\/li>\n<li>Re-set up blogging app on new ipad \u2013 have put BlogPress on to try it out and see if it\u2019s better than the WordPress one<\/li>\n<li>work on Project Life pages \u2013 didn\u2019t happen but scheduled it in my blog planner<\/li>\n<li>Brainstorm ideas for blog \u2013 lots of ideas, now to implement them \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Write up some posts &amp; schedule them \u2013 started a few birthday party planning posts and a heap of stuff for February<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I managed to get 5 of 6 the mini challenges I wanted to do done\u2026.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/makingourlifematter.com\/working-mom-bloggers\/\" target=\"_blank\">5 Tips to Organize Your Blogging When You Work Outside The Home<\/a> \u2013 some great tips. I\u2019ve finally decided to use my blog planner this year instead of just printing it and not using it<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/holysplendor.com\/categories-and-tags\/\">Categories and Tags<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/basics4bloggers.com\/2014\/01\/growing-instagram-following\/\">Growing Your Instagram Following<\/a> \u2013 one of my blog goals for 2014<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.raisingmyboys.net\/2014\/01\/growing-your-facebook-community.html\">Growing Your Facebook Community<\/a> \u2013 another goal this year<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biannualblogathonbash.com\/2014\/01\/increasing-blog-productivity\/\">Increasing Blog Productivity<\/a> \u2013 more great tips. I want to be more productive this year so will be using some of these, like blocking out distractions (NO sm while blogging!!)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/sunshineandsippycups.com\/2014\/01\/15-clever-ways-to-get-new-blog-traffic\/\">15 Clever Ways to Get New Blog Traffic<\/a> \u2013 didn\u2019t get around to getting this done but pinned it for future inspiration \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Feel like I got a bit done and I\u2019m looking forward to getting back into blogging this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gotta love a long weekend but seriously where did it go?
