Seriously, how many ways can you do food that is themed to the caterpillar?<br \/>\nI\u2019m keeping it simple, mainly cause Miss K has soccer the morning of the party and I need to make it as easy as possible!<br \/>\nHow much more simple than taking my cues from the story!!<br \/>\nIn the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf \u2013 devilled eggs on a bed of lettuce leaves<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com\/736x\/40\/32\/a5\/4032a5b5ddc047afc25790eaae10c001.jpg\" alt=\"it's me, andrea.: A &quot;Very Hungry Caterpillar&quot; birthday party.\"><\/div>\n<p>For Monday (one apple), Tuesday (2 pears), Wednesday (3 plums \u2013 thinking we might do grapes), Thursday (4 strawberries) and Friday (5 oranges) \u2013 a fruit platter<br \/>\nSaturday\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>chocolate cake \u2013 brownies<\/li>\n<li>ice cream cone \u2013 maybe small ice cream cones filled with something not ice cream or ice cream lollies<\/li>\n<li>pickle \u2013 not sure about this one<\/li>\n<li>Swiss cheese \u2013 and biscuits<\/li>\n<li>salami \u2013 maybe some twiggy sticks<\/li>\n<li>lollypop \u2013 mini lollipops?<\/li>\n<li>cherry pie<\/li>\n<li>sausage \u2013 mini savs<\/li>\n<li>cupcakes<\/li>\n<li>watermelon (on the fruit platter)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sunday The Caterpillar ate through a nice green leaf \u2013 a salad<br \/>\nThe cocoon \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/260927372137837441\/\" target=\"_blank\">these<\/a> nutella \u2018cocoons\u2019<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com\/736x\/d8\/f8\/76\/d8f8769574b4e2fa464835401c0e06f4.jpg\" alt=\"&quot;cocoons&quot; for caterpillar bday- Nutella and cinnamon inside for Caleb's 1st birthday. &quot;A Very Hungry Caterpillar&quot; party.\"><\/div>\n<p>A beautiful butterfly \u2013 butterfly sugar biscuits<br \/>\nI\u2019d like to do something like these<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com\/736x\/76\/8f\/15\/768f15625dd6a6afdb96c86b5721b5d0.jpg\" alt=\"butterfly cookie favors. how can these be so perfect?\" height=\"253\" width=\"269\"><\/div>\n<p>but it will most likely be something like these<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"98057d377a70b9d76fa8bcc52bdbe763\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/-e8G5wDHHiAw\/VaUJ4mV8EKI\/AAAAAAAAB84\/xw2zJ3lvFck\/98057d377a70b9d76fa8bcc52bdbe763%25255B13%25255D.jpg?imgmax=800\" alt=\"98057d377a70b9d76fa8bcc52bdbe763\" border=\"0\" height=\"240\" width=\"168\"><br \/>\nAnd somewhere in there I\u2019ll do sandwiches.
