So I’m slowly working through these challenges. Just doing little bits as time (& the wolflet) allows.
Challenge #4 is all about paper. Deciding if we’ll store our paper & cardstock vertically or horizontally and how we’ll sort our paper.
Since I don’t have a whole heap of room anymore I’ve decided on two options for my paper storage.
1. Pattern paper will be stored in my Kaisercraft 12 x 12 folders and will live on my computer desk.
2. Cardstock, vellum & other special papers (shaped, handmade etc) will be stored in my paper rack and will live next to my drawer trolley.
3. A4 papers will be stored in a document folder thingy. Again this will live on my computer desk with my other papers.
Well that was easy. Sorting my papers was even easier…
1. PP – sorted by theme, then grouped by manufacturer (not sure how this will work but I’ll try it & see how I go)
2. CS – sorted by colour
3. A4 – not sorted cause I don’t have that many of them.
Challenge #5 is my paper scraps – I have a box full and they are a MESS!
My first job is to trim off all the unusable pieces.
Paper scraps will also be stored in a Kaisercraft 12 x 12 folder and will live on my computer desk next to my PP
Challenge #6 is photos.
I’m planning on scanning all my photos and then just printing as I need them. The photos I have here already printed I will go through with Mum and she can keep what she wants and the rest I will most likely chuck or put in a box to use in my art journal.
I currently have my photos sorted by year & then event and this seems to be working well so I think I’ll stick with this for now.
