Nightwolf Scraps in 2021–End of year round up

So here we are at the end of 2021. This year seems to have flown by, but I think we say that every year.
On the last day of the year I thought I do a round up of a post I did earlier in the year looking at my plans for 2021.

My word for 2021 was Create.
I want to create a more decluttered and organised house. Hmm well not entirely.
I want to create more crafty projects. I think I managed to create more.
Create more in the garden. We planted a few more things, cleaned up a bit and managed to get a plan.

My crafty plans

  • Book of Me with the Awesome Ladies Project. Complete!
  • Daily Pages (Monday to Friday). I managed to get a few months done but not every month. I enjoy doing these but I need to rethink of how I can do it and make it a part of my everyday.
  • 100 Happy Days Compete! I love this project.
  • Attempt to do a daily photo challenge. See how far I get. Didn’t happen. I took photos most days though but not for a challenge.
  • Sharing more on here & my Instagram. I’m finally working out an editorial calendar for myself so hopefully things will be a bit more regular. I’ve done more sharing but I want to make it more regular.
  • Continuing to do my Currently & Thursday 3 each week. Most weeks. I added my Currently to my yearly album.
  • work through the 52 weeks to an organised craft space challenge from thekeeperofthememories. I really want to do this one as I’m slowly bring all Mum’s craft stuff here and hopefully will have a dedicated craft space next year, especially as the kiddos want to craft with me now and the dining table isn’t cutting it (plus I want the dining table back for eating meals at lol). Um, nope.
  • Week in the Life. I need to coral all my previous WitLs actually into an album. I did this year and I made (& completed a mini album) and added it to my yearly album.
  • December Daily/Journal Your Christmas. Still going but nearly done.

I also added a new yearly album. I stopped doing Project Life and started using the Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters memory keeping system. I love it. I have almost completed the full 12 months. I’m hoping to do it again in 2022 if I can get my hands on the same books.

Awesome Ladies Daily Pages Challenge

I love my Daily Pages. I  may take a break from them from time to time but I know it’s a little crafty goodness I can dive into at any time and not feel behind.
For example, I haven’t created a little book in months but for September  I’m back doing my pages, Monday to Friday and enjoying it.

It’s somewhere I can create, practice techniques, just have some craft fun and not stress about it being ‘perfect’. Some of my favourites are nothing more than some washi & a quote card, a quote card and some word stickers. stamping, you get the idea. It’s the home of my Currently cards and my Thursday 3 lists. It’s the place I chuck my favourite quotes or things I see on Instagram.

You can check out my Daily Pages album.

100 Happy Days 2021

What is the 100 Happy Days project? It’s a photo project that challenges you to post something that makes you happy, daily, for 100 days.

I start my 100 days on March 26 and go through until July 3rd. I use the Collect app to collect my images and at the end of the month use the collage feature.I originally had it posted on my main blog but moved it here in 2019. All previous 100 Happy Day collages can be found here.

Time for a catch up

It’s been a while since we just had a catch up. How are you all doing? What have you been up to?
Me? Well I’m doing ok, on the mend from a chest infection. Mentally, doing ok, still have my days. Had a few dark days when I was sick as it really hit me I can’t just ring Mum when sick. This girl still needs her Mum.
Craft wise – Daily Pages, planner spreads, working in my Book of Me, making things with the fellow Fussy Cutting Cuties. Getting ready for an awesome weekend of crafting during the Awesome Ladies Project’s annual Harvest Fest.
