Well I was gonna scrap today but it never happened. I ended up doing housework this morning after sleeping in til 10am. then went out to the scrap room and decided to end up doing some cleaning up. found a nifty feature on my phone camera – a panorama setting!
so here’s a couple of pics I took while out there.
yup it’s a mess…… but it is slowly getting there. just need to finish painting the walls, get some curtains & put up some shelving.
Spent the day card making today. Had a great time & I think I’m going to re-do the theme for me scrap room (yet again lol) I saw the most gorgeous folder & stamp set today by Cavallini Papers & Co so I think I’m gonna go french shabby chic.

Well it’s 8:35pm and I think I’m done for the night.
Here’s my entry for the RSC challenge at Hybrid
(it’s the right hand page of a two pager)
we had to create our own ‘recipe’ & mini this week. My ‘recipe was:
Nightwolf’s Christmas Turkey sandwich
White bread – White or brown CS
Slices of turkey – pp
a generous spread of cranberry sauce – stamping
a small handful of lettuce – flowers
a couple of slices of tomato – alpha
toothpick to hold it together – some bling
and here’s my LO
and my mini was to use LO leftovers to make a bookmark.
(used my Slice to create the dream – I soo *heart* my Slice)
Played catch up on my LOs for the Mystical Jingle All The Way comp (I didn’t get last week’s LOs up in time but the wonderful gals there gave us all an extension to get all the LOs so far into the gallery by Sunday)

Well here we are 13 days into summer and it’s pouring with rain, the radio suggested wind warnings for the whole state and to top it all off we lit the fire this morning.
In all fairness though darling hubby isn’t too well (food poisoning we think) so is really feeling the cold. poor bugger, he’s spent most his time asleep for the last couple of days (when he hasn’t been in the loo)
This weekend is also George Town On Show. Great weather for it 😉 We were meant to be helping out with Hawthorn today (we planned for a handball competition, selling merch & a membership drive) but cause of the weather we’re not doing it today. Tomorrow is the Christmas parade so hopefully the weather fines up and we can set everything up. Yup I’m going in the Christmas parade in my hawks gear with a little bit of pink too (this year’s theme is pink for breast cancer research)
On the upside thou I’m storming thru the LOs. The to do list for the weekend is:
1 for Hybrid’s RSC comp
4 for Mystical’s Jingle All The Way comp
& gonna try & get the ones for the Hybrid CC done as well.

Hybrid Designs Scrapbooking had their October Cyber Crop over the weekend. I got all the challenges done but scrapped the last LO cause I wasn’t happy with it but ya get that 😉

Well the Forever Always Forever Family Challenge is now over & I can share my mini album. I’ll be adding more pages to it as I go but here’s the six we did.
Week One. The challenge was to design the cover & binding for our mini albums & we had to think up an innovative technique to create/decorate our album.
Week Two was looking at extended family. WE had to create a LO about one person or a group of people in our extended family & journal why they are important to us.
Week Three was a LO on who makes up our family & included a list of 5 things we loved about that person.
Week Four was Family Favourites.
Week Five was a LO without photos & had to include advice given by a family member or advice we’d give to our children.
Week Six was family traits.
So that’s it. The winners haven’t been announced yet. The first two weeks of the Scrapbook Shelf Slice of Life comp have been done & I’ll share them later today – want to get a few LOs done this afternoon first.
