Better late than never but here’s my Week 6 We Dare Ya LO.
And I only got 2 Mystical Scrapbooks CC challenges done over the weekend. got a migraine Saturday night & spent most of Sunday in bed 🙁 (gotta talk to the doc bout that 2morrow) But here’s the 2 pages I got done.
Also got the Mystical Scrapbooks March LO challenge done. another page to add to my Scrap Your Happy album.
What else? Oh yeah took this pick of Cola on Saturday morning
Now onto my goals for March (this week’s Rock Your Blog prompt What would you like to achieve this month??)
I really want to get more LOs done. I want to submit a couple of LOs to magazines (if I don’t submit they may never pick me) Organise a crop with my mum (I love scrapping with mum – it’s a great girls day) DO SOMETHING IN MY SCRAPROOM – it’s a long weekend next weekend in Tassie so I have three days (hopefully) to get something at least started.
A (very) pink Princess door hanger for the Mystical Scrapbook OTP challenge.
And I finally got round to starting my Scrap Your Happy album.
Didn’t get round to finishing my WDY LO (lost a pic somewhere between the study & the kitchen table & I cannot find it anywhere) but will hopefully get it done today/tonight.
This little cutie was a gift from mum & dad on my 30th birthday (last month). It’s one of my favourite pressies (still waiting on the mp4 player pressie from hubby but that’s another story ….. grrr at slacker eBay sellers)
Did the layout for the Mystical Scrapbooks Music Madness challenge. Working on my We Dare Ya challenge tonight so will hopefully have another layout share later today.
A new challenge over at MS – Rock Your Blog. Giving us prompts to blog about. This week’s prompt – Scrapbooking? How do you motivate yourself and still enjoy the process??
How do I motivate myself? hmmm forum challenges & sketches mainly. I usually find a challenge or a sketch (sometimes even a layout in a gallery or mag) sparks an idea that I have to scrap. Other times it’s just an element
I find I need to organise time to scrap otherwise I never get anything done LOL The knowledge I’m creating something for future generations (& kids when we have them) keeps me motivated (no matter how discouraged I get when I get knocked backed after submitting layouts – all that’s important is that I like my layouts right?)
Anywho onto the layouts. MS had their monthly Cyber crop over the weekend. I missed a fair bit cause I’ve had a shocking migraine (ended up in bed on Sunday because of it) managed to get four challenges done thou.
Challenge 1 – scrap a day in your life…incorporating a list
created using Prima Paintables from Prima Hybrid (I’m LOVING these)
Challenge 2 – produce a layout using both hearts and flowers, but the hearts have to be HANDMADE
(I love this pic) Made the heart & flowers using chippie, wedding dress material, felt flowers & heart brads.
Challenge 3 – you need to make a card using the word LOVE and something red as an embellishment
Challenge 4 – the challenge is to make and decorate a gift box (using a template)
