Log Your Memory – Baby’s First Year

I *heart* the Log Your Memory site & I *heart* the 2010 Memory Logbook so when Kristin released the Baby’s First Year Memory Logbook I knew I had to have it LOL And I am not disappointed either.
It’s divided into six sections (an intro to the book; capturing the arrival of your little one; a week by week section; a month by month section; a section looking at memorable moments in the first year; and a year in photos & first birthday.)
Each section has space to journal your thoughts and memories as well as some 8×8 spaces for pictures or mini layouts.
I’m really looking forward to filling this book in as we go through the rest of Miss K’s first year (& catching up on journaling the first 2 months)
So if you’re a scrapbooker, heck even if you aren’t, I would highly recommend this book to any parent.
Log Your Memory Baby’s First Year memory logbook – available as in a download & print yourself format, coil bound, soft cover paperback, hardcover and premium hardcover (all versions except the print yourself are only available at Lulu.com)
It’s 346 pages of baby memory goodness. You can preview pages here and read more about the book at this Log Your Memory blog post.

I’ve printed mine out and am slowly working thru the past 2 months (yup, the wolflet is 2 months already!). Will be back later to share a few pages with you all 🙂

Update – we’re up to 5 months now and I’ve fallen a bit behind. Hoping to catch up the weekend when I have a scrap day with Mum.

Log Your Memory 2010 Memory Logbook

(this is the first of a few posts I’m finally getting around to finishing & posting LOL)

I’ve decided to start doing some reviews on this site of my favourite products. I have not received any of these products for free & I am not being paid to review them. It’s just stuff I’ve bought that I love & want to share with all of you 🙂 If I’m offered a product to review I will begin the review post by saying so 🙂

So today’s product is the Log Your Memory 2010 Memory Logbook

For $19.95US (for the download & print yourself version) you get a great tool. It’s a scrapbook planner, journal/diary, idea book and more.

The logbook contains monthly and daily calendars with room to write in your monthly/daily activities (US holidays are also listed) and there is plenty of room to document your daily memories.
There is also a sot to create your own “Story List” of scrapbook pages and memories you want to share/create.
Each week there is a page dedicated to layout sketches and a weekly challenge question each with it’s own example to help get the ideas flowing
At the beginning of the logbook there is a yearly questionnaire as well as a monthly questionnaire each month looking back at favourite events for the month.

What I love:
The format. I love how it’s set out. I love the monthly calendar at the start of each month.
The weekly challenges are a great inspiration.
The add-ons (Blog Topics; Check This Out! ~ Art, Music, Movies; Check This Out! ~ Website, Reading Material; Contact List; Fave Recipes & Meals; Gift Tracker; Layout Notes; List & Sketch Page; Menu Planner; Playlist; Profile Tracker; Reading Log; Simple Blank Sheet; Simple Grid Sheet; Simple Lined Sheet)
The website (forum & gallery) – super friendly and a great source on inspiration.

What I’m not so keen on:
It’s US holidays only. I guess doing holidays for every country would be a pain but I guess I’d prefer it if there were only the major holidays – like NYE, Valentine’s Day etc.
