{"id":945,"date":"2010-03-18T17:58:00","date_gmt":"2010-03-18T07:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nightwolfsden.com\/crafts\/?p=945"},"modified":"2010-03-18T17:58:00","modified_gmt":"2010-03-18T07:58:00","slug":"organisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nightwolfsden.com\/crafts\/organisation\/","title":{"rendered":"Organisation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I was going thru &amp; tidying up my blogs in my blog reader (I have over 2000 posts saved!) and I came across a post linking to <a href=\"http:\/\/wookiemouse.blogspot.com\/search\/label\/organization%20challenge?max-results=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this organising challenge<\/a>. Since hubby &amp; I have now decided that we\u2019ll share a table in the office (he\u2019ll use it for build RPG miniatures &amp; I\u2019ll use it for scrapping) I need to take stock of what I have &amp; organise it a bit better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So over the next few weeks I\u2019ll work through each of the 29 challenges and post how I\u2019m going here. Anyone want to work thru the challenges with me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The first challenge was to do an audit of our current scrapping space, listing what works and what doesn\u2019t work. Hmm well I\u2019m starting afresh so I\u2019m really not sure how I should approach this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know I like to have things where I can see them (out of mind, out of site \u2013 if I can\u2019t see it I usually forget I have it lol) and when I\u2019m scrapping I like to have tools and supplies within easy reach. I need to have my paper sorted. I need to have better storage options for EVERYTHING!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not having much room (basically a tote, a clip it up and the top of my computer desk at the moment) means I\u2019ll need to be super organised and have containers for everything. Hopefully these challenges will help me obtain my goal of having an organised space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second challenge was to think of our dream scrap room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My list of what I\u2019d like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>storage for my CS &amp; papers. I\u2019m thinking something I can sit on top of my computer desk. Something where I can organise my papers, I\u2019m thinking I\u2019ll go back to sorting them by theme, and take out just what I need for each project (so when I\u2019m working on, say, baby pages I just grab my baby papers). Same with CS, sorted by colour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Something I can keep on my workspace (that won\u2019t take up a heap of room) so I can keep stuff I use heaps within reach. Things I use often are pens, craft knife\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Someway of having my Slice &amp; related bit close by<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having my Clip It Up better organised<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organise all my embellishments and have them stored in appropriate containers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A better way of organising my pages in progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was going thru &amp; tidying up my blogs in my blog reader (I have over 2000 posts saved!) and I came across a post linking to this organising challenge.
