I haven’t shared any of my Fussy Cutting Cuties bits and pieces since September last year but since we are in a new year I thought I’d start a fresh and shown you what we’ve been doing at the end of the month.
So, 2021 saw a change to the Cutie Keeper, going from a monthly TN insert to a year long A5 project. Now I love me some A5 and have a bunch of empty A5 size binders so totally behind this one.
Each month we get a printable pack of pages – a calendar, our yearly Christmas project, and other little projects to complete through the month. Here is some of my pages.
My monthly divider for January from Simple Stories printables. Sticking a Currently list (also from Simple Stories) to the back of each month divider.
My hexie page using random scraps of paper and printables from Kami Higgins (available here)
My Fussy Spread, created using bits from Planners Anonymous Butterfly Skies kit. I seriously love this kit. 365 day card is from
This is my Jolly January spread for our Colossal Christmas Project. Lots of Planners Anonymous, some Heidi Swapp and bits and pieces from a Christmas card swap & Secret Santa
Each month we visit a different destination as part of Take Me Away Day. January was Sydney Australia. Loved that they started in my country. Mostly created using the printables provided to us, except for the page about the Botanical Gardens which features the Painted Protea kits from Luscious Labels
January’s Cutie takeover was with Michelle Durheim and was about water colours and lettering. Haven’t finished mine yet so no photos to share.
I love a good printable, especially when the graphics are super cute. The amazing Kelly Bangs & Paula G joined forces to create a new group The Fussy Cutting Cuties.
$10US a month gets you access to a private Facebook group, 6+ live events a month, 5+ crafty printable sheets per month, Random Happy Mail and more……
anywho…… each month we are making a cutie file but that’s a post for another time plus another little project. Last month our project was a mini memorydex in a berry basket with Caroline Martinez– a fruity dex if you will. We got a template to make our own basket and mini memorydex cards.
So far I’ve made 10 cards but I’ve got some ideas for more.
How cute are they? Can’t wait to get some more made and in my fruitdex PLUS it’s given me some ideas to use in my full size memorydex.
Week in the Life is a week-long documentation project from the amazing scrapbooker/memory keeper Ali Edwards. You can see previous years by clicking the WitL tag.
After not sharing my WitL for the last few years here, this year I really want to document our life right now during the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.
My Reason why for 2020:
This year the world is such a different place. We’re in the middle of a global Covid-19 pandemic and the majority of us are staying home.
I want to document what our life looks like during this time – what is different and what is the same. Our daily routines while at home and if we go out for essentials
Restrictions are slowly being lifter starting this week and I want to record life going forward.
Braehead Crafts is my little side venture. Mum & I run monthly craft events for local creative types and use a percentage of the event fees as our yearly donation to Ovarian Cancer Australia.
May was magnets.
A couple of years back I did an online class with Heidi Swapp & Jessica Sprague called Mouse Paper Scissors: Give. We made some awesome gifts and one of those was a cute little set of magnets in a tin. I modified the class a little as a) we didn’t have computer access for everyone and b) I wanted something everyone could do at home.
This time round we had a small group so I managed to make a few for myself.
and some of the other creations…
