December 2010 round up

Wow this is the last round up for 2010! What an amazing year 2010 has been. I’m going to do a year in review post tomorrow Smile

What illnesses or health concerns did I have? We all had a bit of the summer head cold, hubby & bub were the worst.

What were my accomplishments this month? getting all the presents bought before Christmas.

How did I do on my goals for the month? (Or any current short or long term goals) Still journaling. Still taking lots of pics.

Anything else noteworthy to include? Had a wonderful Christmas day. Mum hasn’t been well. Miss K now has 4 teeth and more on the way. The UPS on my computer has died.

Finish off Journal Your Christmas album
Try to get at least one day with mum scrapping
Work more on my art journal – enrolled in 2011 Art Journal Caravan Smile & plan on keeping up this time.

Christmas 2010

Well Christmas has come & gone again for another year. We had an awesome time. Miss K was well & truely spoilt. The day was spent with family & a good time was had by all (except mum who hasn’t been well). Boxing Day was a quiet affair with the inlaws coming over for lunch.

I’ve been slowly working on my JYC album. I’ve got most of the base pages done & just need to add some photos. I’m hoping to get all caught up so I can share them with you soon.

In other news I’ve signed up for the Art Journal Caravan for 2011. I really want to do more art journalling next year.

Can you believe 2010 is nearly over? Where has the year gone?

Ok the little one is back up & I’m off to cook tea.
Until later….

Inspiration Everywhere

Oops I nearly forgot I had signed up for this class. Bad me lol

Anyways, I’ve actually caught up (go me) so I thought I’d share what I’ve created so far Smile

My Art Journal cover, created using the freebies from Jessica (plus a flower from my stash). I’ve finally got around to creating a cover for my Urban Lily Life journal I won ages ago. So that’s the start of my art journal (which we’ll be using a bit in this class)

This is my dedication page (again using the freebies from Jessica).

The text reads:

“To reveal what existed only in mind and heart,
To soar on creative wings, fulfil my goal
To bring to life and light what never was
Through my art to wake and stir my soul”

Looking forward to the rest of this class now Smile

Today also is the last day of November. I’ve managed to do another month of daily blogging. I’m hoping to blog a lot more regularly now. Look for a couple more themed daily posts and a new look soon.

On another note – I’m starting to create some digi goods again. I’ll be opening up my new blog in the new year. THis blog will stay as is but anything related to digital scrapbooking (well my designs) will go over there Smile

Now off to enjoy a little Bones & a hot chocolate (yay bub is asleep)

Momento

This week I’m looking at Momento

Site: http://www.momentoapp.com/
About: With Momento in your pocket you can write your diary ‘on the go’, capturing moments whenever you find the time. A beautiful interface coupled with powerful tagging, makes it quick and easy to write about your day and browse moments from your past.
Get it here
Cost: $US1.99 (for a limited time)

What I think: This year I’ve started journaling everyday, thanks in part to Log Your Memory. I don’t always have time to sit down & journal in my Logbook but with Momento I can journal anywhere (usually in bed before I go to sleep).
I like: the ability to journal everywhere, tagging posts, attaching pics. Being able to attach to online accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr etc.)
What I’d like to see: honestly they have thought of pretty much everything I need for journaling at the moment
What I don’t like: haven’t found anything yet
