Oh yeah, I’ve got two pages done for boot camp so will be sharing them in the next day or two – want to wait til I can get some decent light for photos 😀

Ok off to check my tea, hungry…

Til next time!

May 2010 Round Up

Well it’s that time again – time for my month round up (Wow can you believe it’s June already… where have the last 5 months gone?)

(The idea & questions for my round up come from Katie the Scrapbook Lady.)

  • What books and/or magazines did I read this month? Magazines: Scrapbooking Memories. Books: Politically Incorrect Parenting by Nigel Latta  (an awesome book, very funny and so true)
  • What movies, television shows, plays, etc. did I watch this month?
TV – Dr Who, Top Gear
  • What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends? Went out for tea with Mum & Dad for Mother’s Day.
  • What gifts did I give and/or receive? Gave my mum & MIL a photo frame for Mother’s Day. I received a gorgeous heart locket for my very first Mother’s Day
  • What special or unusual purchases did I make? More clothes for Kara, a heap of new books, more scrapping supplies and a bebe pod for Kara.
  • What illnesses or health concerns did I have? Just the usual winter sniffles
  • What were my accomplishments this month? Feeling more organised.
  • What were my disappointments this month? Getting grumpy at hubby for not helping with the housework.
  • How did I do on my goals for the month? (Or any current short or long term goals) Backed up all my photos. The journaling every day is happening, well most days. Some days it’s just one line (I lead a quiet life LOL). Same for P365, missing a few photos from last month.
Haven’t done any more to Kara’s album (hoping this will change when Mum & Dad get back).
On the upside, I am slowly getting my scrap area organised. Yay me 🙂 I’m posting all about it over on my scrapbooking blog if you are interested in following along.
  • Anything else noteworthy to include? Mum & Dad went overseas. This is the first time they have been back to Scotland since they came to Australia. Missing them heaps but they are having a great time. Can’t wait til they get back.
