Welcome to Nightwolf’s Den
Exploring Spirit, Craft, and the Wild Within.
Welcome to Nightwolf’s Den – a personal space where I slow down, reflect, create, and tell stories drawn from a life deeply rooted in creativity, connection, and the natural world.
What began years ago as “a little craft, a little parenting, and a lot of me” has grown into something richer and more intentional: a place to explore inner landscapes, everyday magic, and the wild, honest moments that shape us.
This is a space for lived experience – not perfection.
For creativity as practice, not performance.
For stories that hold both light and shadow.
A bit about me

I’m a mum to two amazing girls, human to five cats (Luna, Logan, Florence, Chippie & Breezer), keeper of five chickens, and married to my best friend.
Originally from Launceston, Tasmania, I now call George Town home – a place that grounds me and continually draws me back to the rhythms of nature.
I’m a foster carer with Just Cats Tasmania, a Pagan, and someone who finds joy in:
Photography
Art and creative practice
Planners, journaling, and intentional living
Craft in all its forms
I’m also involved in my community – including being a primary school hockey coach and being part of our local arts group Outer Cove Creative Inc.
I’m also currently studying a Diploma of Creative Arts & Health at UTAS.
Alongside creativity, advocacy matters deeply to me. I’m a passionate voice for:
- Ovarian Cancer awareness (after losing my mum to it in 2019)
- Domestic violence awareness
- Mental health awareness
I’m also an Accredited Mental Health First Aider, and I believe that sharing our stories – honestly and compassionately – can save lives.
Why Nightwolf’s Den?
I’ve carried the nickname Nightwolf since the early days of the internet — and even before that, during my CB radio days.
When I created this blog, Nightwolf’s Den felt like the most natural name. This space has always been my den — a place where I gather thoughts, stories, creativity, reflections, and pieces of myself to share with others.
It’s a safe space.
A creative space.
A place to return to.
What You’ll Find Here
Nightwolf’s Den is intentionally varied — because life is.
Here you’ll find posts about:
- Blogging — challenges, reflections, and guest posts
- General life — awareness campaigns, advocacy, and product reviews
- Getting organised — planners, journaling, and intentional systems
- Our house & family life — the everyday moments that matter
- In the Den Kitchen — recipes and shared food stories

Some posts are practical. Some are reflective. Some are deeply personal. All of them are real.
An Invitation
Nightwolf’s Den is my space – but it’s also an open one.
If you’re drawn to creativity with meaning, spirituality grounded in everyday life, honest storytelling, or simply slowing down and noticing the world around you – you’re welcome here.
Pull up a chair.
Step into the den.
Stay awhile.
A Safe & Inclusive Space
Nightwolf’s Den is a safe, inclusive space for all – especially my fellow LGBTIQA+ family.
You are welcome here. You are valued here. You belong here.
We believe trans women are women and trans men are men. Nonbinary people are valid.
Hate, discrimination, or harmful behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. This space is grounded in respect, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported.
Nightwolf’s Den is written and created in kinimathatakinta, lutruwita.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise their enduring connection to land, waters, culture, and community, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
This den exists with care – for people, for stories, and for place.
