The big newspaper stories this year is the 50th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing on 6th August, O.J. Simpson is found not guilty of murdering his ex-wife and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated.
The most dangerous thing I’ve ever done is, well stuff I would prefer not to share 😉
The furthest away from home I’ve ever been is Hobart. Not really that far but I can’t afford to go anywhere else.

I would have added a pic but I don’t think there are any photos of me from when I was 17 – tragic I know (probably a good thing – I saw a pic of me at 18 & OMG I look terrible!!)

On a side note – can u believe it’s the end of November already? and OMG I think I posted every day LOL that has to be a first for me. Don’t know if I’ll keep it up but we’ll c how we go 🙂

Anywho, onto my new project. It’s loosely inspired by one of the 52 Pickup challenges over at Little Scrapbook Shop. The project will be a book of challenges that I can dip into when ever I have scrappers block. So to start with I’ll have the 52 Pickup challenges and I’ll add other challenges that I’d like to do but may not have the time to do as I go along. As soon as I have the basics set up I’ll share 🙂

That’s what we had last night (ok so not exactly like in the pic but u get the idea) Was woken at some ungodly hour by some wonderful rolling thunder and lightning. Kitty kats were not overly impressed.

Slept in til bout 10 which was nice and it was still raining, so I did some scrapping. I haven’t taken any pics yet but I plan to 2morrow. didn’t do much else today – enjoyed not doing much lol played some more Sims.

Tomorrow I’m hoping to b a bit more productive & go do a little gardening. I might even go do some more tidying in my soon to be empty scrap room. I’m gonna miss that room (not that I really used it much anyway) but at least I’ll b scrapping inside which will b a good thing when bub is born.

got some new Kaisercraft goodies yesterday. The new storage folder (the 12×12 one) and the storage pockets. they are awesome – hoping to put them to good use 2morrow. and the new mini alpha stickers and some Xmas papers.

Went to where I volunteer this morning and did a little bit more to my preg journal. I’m hoping to get some of the pages photographed 2morrow and up on bub’s blog.

I’ve nearly got my Polytechnic stuff done. will work on finishing it off over the weekend as well and get it uploaded for marking.

finding some great new digi blogs thanks to DigiFree. If you’re into digital scrapbooking it’s worth a look.

that’s bout it for my day. Feeling very tired so I might head to bed earlyish 2nite

Up to town early today so they could take my blood (after I drank some foul tasting sugar drink) and test to see if I have gestational diabetes. hoping I don’t have to do that test again for awhile.

ended up coming home and trying to have a nap. it’s so overcast & warm here though so I wasn’t very successful. hopefully it cools down a bit tonight so I can get a few things done.

I hear it’s Thanksgiving in the USA today (it’s plastered everywhere on the net lol). Not a holiday we celebrate here in Oz but I thought I’d wish all my US reader a happy Thanksgiving and share a few things I’m thankful for.

I’m thankful for

• a loving husband who is one of the best things to ever happen to me
• the new life growing inside me
• all my friends
• having enough food on the table to keep my family healthy
• for having the freedom to do most things I want
• scrapping 😉

notice the date??? Exactly ONE MONTH til Christmas!!!

and guess what I’m not stressed. I’ve got all my presents either bought or ordered. Had a mishap with the Christmas tree but that is ok because we have a small one that will do this year – seriously it’s just me & hubby so we don’t need a big tree – next year is a different matter.

Food presents are organised and will be made in the days leading up to Christmas so they don’t melt. and we know what we’re doing Christmas Day.

Onto other things….

went to another ante-natal class tonight. Learnt about what to expect if we need help with the delivery or something goes wrong. Nothing really scary but it’s good to know what will happen if anything goes wrong. Discussed what to pack in our bags to take to hospital. but I’ll discuss that more on bub’s blog so not to bore u all here 😉

Scrappy wise – I still haven’t done any paper scrapping. hope to do some this weekend. Roll 2 Create’s first major competition has just finished and the voting is open so pop on over and vote for the super talented girls who took part in the 12 week competition. All the details are on the blog.

Anyways it’s nearly 11pm here & I’m off up to town in the morning for a blood test then back home to get some more of my TAFE course done (& finally handed in), wrap some more presents and get the grocery list done so I can do my shopping for the fortnight.

I’ve spent most of the day teaching or coding

I’ve teaching a family friend how to use her new laptop & the internet.

I’ve also been working on the Roll 2 Create site and blog and tearing my hair out over another site redesign. nothing major just trying to get some CSS to work and make the page look how I want it – without using tables lol lots of fun.

actually managed to sleep thru the night last night – well til 5:30ish but I’m still tired.

just a short & sweet today 🙂

Seriously? We had a thunderstorm again last night and today it has rained nearly all day. I’m even in a jumper & jeans (after wearing tshirt & shorts for the last week or so)

Have had a quiet day today. Hubby spent the day playing The Sims 3 World Adventure *sigh*

I think I might spend the night scrapping. If I do I’ll b back later with some pages to share. 🙂
