In the Den Kitchen – pork stir fry

This week we decided to have a stir fry but weren’t sure what meat we wanted so off to the butcher’s to get our meat for the fortnight and pick out something to be the star of our stir fry.
I ended up picking a super yummy pork fillet (it’s my favourite cut of pork and I use it in so many recipes) and made this super delicious pork stir fry.

100 Happy Days 2017: Days 1 to 20

I love this project. I’ve taken part in this project for a couple of years and I love looking back at past photos.

What is 100 Happy Days? It’s a photo project that challenges you to post something that makes you happy, daily, for 100 days. You can read more about it at 100happydays.com

Anywho, here’s my first 20 days, starting from March 25. Created using Collect.

In the Den Kitchen – Coconut Biscuits

It’s been a while since I shared any recipes with you all so I thought I’d share something that has become a new family favourite – so much so that I find myself cooking it at least once a week! You can change them up a bit to by adding smarties or M&Ms into them as soon as you take them out of the oven, before cooling.

Seriously, you need to try these. Pop on over to Kidspot and grab the recipe. Let me know what you think if you cook them

In other news I’ll slowly be moving all my Your Inspiration at Home recipes over to this blog.

It’s birthday time again

Not mine, that was a couple of days ago but that means it’s time for Miss K’s party planning to go into full swing.

She had her heart set on an afternoon at the local bike and road safety centre but that was fully booked so we settled on her second choice – a pool party! And not just any pool party, this Mum’s turning it into a mermaid pool party.

So keep an eye out over the next few weeks for my Mermaid party planning.

You can check out previous party posts here.

Bullet Journal a few more months in

Well here we are in January and I have to admit, I’m still loving my BuJo and I’m still using it every day. If it had been a regular planner, it’s about this stage (3 months) I start to forget to use my planner and it seems like a chore. I really don’t know what it is about the BuJo system that makes it work so well for me. We’ll see how I’m going at the 6 month mark.

Now on to the sharing….

I’ve started using my BuJo for other things and creating collections and planning. For our trip to Queensland at Christmas I created a page for our itinerary, a to do list for before we left and a packing list

IMG_8539

I shared the cover for my Christmas planner last time and inside it I created pages for our Elf ideas, gift list and a little Christmas countdown (created with stickers from Lovely Planner.)

Then onto December…including my tracker for challenges, another Zen Art Challenge and my year in review.

So there you go. I’ll be back in a couple of months to share the next few months and to keep you up to date with how I’m going.

Seriously–run don’t walk!

If you want to get yourself one of the amazing life or biz workbooks now is the time. Why? Cause they are 50% off!!!

unnamed

Seriously, if you want to try these books out or even grab the planner, do it. They will change your life.
They have changed mine for the better and I’m planning to use the 2017 Biz planner to ramp up my business this year.

Want a look inside before you decide to buy? Sure, here you go….
