Well it’s 2009. Didn’t stay up til midnight (crashed at around 11:30) but was still awake to see in the new year.

Exciting things happening this week with heaps of sales & the grand opening of Roll 2 Create. Hybrid Designs Scrapbooking is undergoing a makeover & I’m looking forward to seeing the new look. Mystical Scrapbooks is back up & running after some nasty Christmas gremlins in the forum & gallery. And the January challenges are slowly going up.

Speaking of challenges, I’m taking part in the Scrapbook Graphics Project 365. I’m gonna try and do the photo a day but I feel it may end up being a photo a week (therefore Project 52)

So here’s my pic for January 1.

One of my FAV digi (& paper) gals in the whole digi world Rhonna Farrer is blogging again after a two year break. Seriously go check this talented chickies blog out. Her stuff is seriously rocking.

Artificial only cause real ones give me hayfever, which sucks cause I love the smell of real trees. The kitties would have a ball in a real tree too I bet.

Usually on 1st Dec

When do you take the tree down?
Usually on 1st January

Not really

Favorite gift received as a child?
the dollshouse my dad built me. I’ve still got it too.

Hardest person to buy for?
My dad, My FIL & my brother.

Easiest person to buy for?
Any of the rellies who does scrapbooking LOL

nope

Mail to the locals, email to overseas.

Honestly can’t think of one

When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Um usually the fortnight before Christmas. Every year I promise myself I’ll buy before then but it never happens.

Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
yeah

Favorite thing about Christmas?
Turkey, prawns, choc truffles… the food LOL

Lights on the tree?
Yes

Favorite Christmas song?
Ate too much at Christmas by The Sunny Cowgirls (check them out they rock!)

Travel at Christmas or stay home?
Travel as far as mum & dad’s (bout 15 mins lol)

Rudolph, Dasher, Donner, Blitzen, um that’s all I can think of (without the help of Google lol)

The crowds when you go shopping

I love anything silver or purple.

We have a bunnie. It’s a albino rex cross (with ??). Photos will come as soon as I take some lol. We think it’s a boy but aren’t 100% sure. If it is I think we’re calling it Elminster (for those who don’t know – hubby’s a D&D player – here’s a link for some light reading ;))

on to the AFL Grand Final now to face the Cats next Saturday!

Scrap wise will share some LOs 2morrow. Mid Month Marathon @ Mystical Scrapbooks & the Gladiators challenge has finished so much to share 🙂

but plan on a busy w/e of scrapping (well after we do the gardening – went & bought an apricot tree, a hawthorn & a climbing rose). Need to get a ton of challenges done by Sunday night.
Ended up pulling out of the Scraps of life comp.

Here’s my updated list

1. White with One DONE (just need to email it – still haven’t done it)
2. Mystical Scrapbooks Spellbound (got one done need to catch up with the others)
3. Mystical Scrapbooks Gladiators (first three challenges done – wnat to try & get one of the round 4 bonus ones done too)
4. Catch up on Mystical 26 (got 2 done)
