So today is the first day of Shimelle’s class Blogging for Scrapbookers (if you haven’t signed up yet and are interested – you still have plenty of time). I took this class when it originally ran in 2009 and I’m looking forward to taking it again this year.
Last time I managed to blog about each prompt. I want to create a page as well but I never got around to it. This year I’m going to create a mini album. So each day will be a little blogging followed by a digi page using that day’s prompt.
My intentions this time around
- attempt to blog everyday (if I don’t, well it doesn’t matter)
- create a mini album page for each day’s prompt
- share my pages
- interact in the class forum a bit more
So here’s my cover for my mini album (not sure if it’ll be 8×8 or 6×6 yet – creating it at 8×8 so I have the choice)
and my first page
all bits from House of 3 Waiting for Spring kit. Font is AL Afternoon Delights
Also, Hello if you are stopping by today, either on your first visit or if you have been here before.
Good luck with class! I love the paper you selected for your mini album.
What a great idea to create a mini-album to go along with the class! This is my first time taking the class. May I ask, what prompted you to take it a second time?
Good Luck with your intentions for the class!
Wow! You are prepared!! I’m going through this for the second time, too. I just love Shimelle’s classes!
Love the mini album idea. This will be my first time in the class.
